The Ocean Cleanup – #teamseas

This summer, BAAM.Tech was extremely fortunate to be selected as a part of the team supporting The Ocean Cleanup, helping them to further their efforts by using drones to help scout trash in the Pacific Garbage Patch, increasing the effectiveness of their trash collection methods. We continue to believe in the good that drones and robotics have to offer the world, and projects such as The Ocean Cleanup continue to fuel and inspire so many innovations around the world.

We are so proud of our entire team and their participation with this effort, including developing SOPs, testing equipment and providing training opportunities. Namely Jared Crain, BAAM.Tech Pilot, took the charge on this project and BAAM.Tech’s efforts, from attending Mariner Training to spending 7+ weeks traveling and living at sea performing these complicated operations.

Saving our oceans is going to take forward thinking leadership to apply the best technology possible and we believe The Ocean Cleanup has a track record of that leadership. Please consider donating to #teamseas to support these incredible efforts.
