DJI Updates Fly App to v1.7.0

Featuring the newly released DJI Avata FPV drone

DJI has released a new version of the DJI Fly app, adding support for the newly-launched Avata FPV drone and DJI Goggles 2. The support for DJI’s latest products comes in the new Fly app version (v1.0.7) along with fixes to certain issues and optimizing the overall quality of the app.

With this release, DJI realizes that many users would experience immersive flight for the first time using the new Avata, so the update packages a new, detailed tutorial on how to safely and efficiently operate the new drone.

DJI Virtual Flight

The drone company also recommends new pilots to utilize their free simulator app, DJI Virtual Flight, to familiarize themselves with drone flying movements in a risk-free environment, before taking to the skies. The simulator app will allow for pilots to fly the DJI Avata in various settings using the dedicated controller.

DJI Avata

DJI simultaneously released the DJI Avata and Goggles 2 today, and is immediately available for purchase starting at $629. BAAM.Tech® customers will be able to get in queue within the coming days for their very own Avata FPV drone and Goggles 2.
