Designed to do what others can’t. The Genesys is designed for advanced applications like geophysics slacklining of magnetometers and VLF systems and Lidar mapping systems. The aircraft is designed to carry heavy sensors for long times with accurate real time terrain following.
The aircraft uses a hybrid gas, and electric power system that allows for long flight times and high payload capacity. The gas engine is setup as a generator that provides power to the aircraft and recharges the onboard battery providing a redundant power system.
The flight planning is fully autonomous with a backup manual radio. The stock radio system will provide 1.5-2 miles of range and can be extended to 5 miles with a radio relay upgrade. Simply wirelessly connect the controller to your computer or android tablet or phone for flight planning.

The Genesys can fly for a 4-hour maximum flight time with a light payload. With a 1kg payload can fly for 3 hours, and a 5kg payload can fly for 1 hour.
The Genesys is designed to optimize low flights for applications like Geophysics Magnetometers and VLF systems, and mapping applications like Lidar. It uses active terrain following using real time sensors to adjust to fly precise flights directly above the ground
The Genesys is optimized to hang sensors below the aircraft. BAAM Tech has developed a unique mounting system to reduce the pendulum effect from sensors.
Through their years of experience operating drones, Baam Tech recognized the fixed wing drone solutions commercially available were not up to the task. BAAM.TECH has set out to create an aircraft that addresses all problems facing survey grade drones. READ MORE>
